Equity Bank humiliates a prominent customer on oxygen seeking to withdraw urgent treatment money

Mukono based businessman John  Zabazungu’s in  comma after Equity bank Wandegeya branch denied him access to his saved money on his account for almost half a day. Whisper Eye Reports.

Kavuma John a son of Zabazungu  well known to Whisper Eye has said that his father was denied access  to his money from Equity Bank for his health urgent  Medical Bill.  Zabazungu is battling to save his life in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) .

“Equity Bank wandegeya humiliated my father. Now his under ICU in Nakasero Hospital after putting him under this intense condition.” Kavuma said.

” He was on a high oxgyen circulation and under close monitoring by doctors from Norvik hospital  but Equity Bank Wandegeya couldn’t let him access his funds for treatment even after the Branch manager coming and saw his situation.” Mr Kavuma explained.

The son vows not to forgive the management of the bank after failure to make a proper assessment in relation to save father’s life.

“I will never forgive Equity Bank if anything goes bad. He saved his money for his own health. Not to be punished to this extent for God’s seek every we’re was hurting!” Kavuma remarked.

By press time one of his prominent son in the USA known to Whisper Eye as Mr Solomon Semujju  has directed his lawyers to look into the matter and sue Equity bank for the humiliation caused to his father.

Mr Zabazungu who hails from Mukono , Mpooma is a renowned re-estate businessman with various buildings in Mukono and Kyedando in Kampala.

Whisper Eye efforts to get a word from the Equity Bank management was futile despite constant calls.
