Uganda police arrests a yellow pig protestor planning a massive protest in Kampala

One person named Robin Wabulembo and others was on thursday , January 11th 2018 , arrested in Kampala  as Uganda  police suspected him and the group of planing protests in Kampala over the new launched tubalemese campaign over the new passed age limit Bill.

Police says the group were buying old tyres with intent to burn,block major city roads & junctions , the arrested it’s alleged that he was previously arrested last year for dropping yellow pigs at Uganda Parliament.

It also said  traders are always  forced to shut down their business premises when ever opposition politician carry out demonstrations in Kampala and other urban areas in Uganda athing police will not happen.

Uganda led oposition Col rtd Dr Kizza Besigye and several opposition leaders earlier in the day launched a new campaign doubled Tubalamese in which Besigye said the original struggle was for the soldiers and therefore they have a duty to disable the current regime.

Kizza Besigye  called for the boycott of all businesses and corporate entities that support the National Resistance Movement  regime.

 

Last week, traders in Kampala together with police warned opposition protests and called upon the  government to ban  demonstrations in the Central Business District of Kampala saying its a local trader  that suffers when politicians demonstrate in Kampala.

Nonetheless, Opposition leaders  Kizza besigye, Erias Lukwago and others  have defied the warnings from what they refer to as NRM Junta agents  and say they will  proceed with their planned protests.
