Uganda youth protest over increasing unemployment  in Uganda. The youth from Kawempe division and surrounding areas  also declared Kawempe separate from Uganda blocking  roads in Wandegaya.

The errant youth say they have lost hope in Uganda employment opportunities as they protested what they called negligence by the NRM government  in service delivery.

They ploted tyres,  bricks and stones blocking  major roads in Kawempe before police came into action arresting close to 6 of them.

“Enough is enough some youth said, they called upon president museveni to resign faulting him on there hopeless life,  one of the unidentified protesters shouted. Uganda belongs to all of us; we demand jobs to survive.”

Uganda is ranked as number one country with the highest young population covering closely to 70%  of the 40 million population as thousands graduate every year.

Uganda Parliament last year passed a Bill which is believed to be extending  president Museveni grip on power has it deleted the only remaining article which would not allow aperson above 75 years to contest for Uganda’s presidency.
